Windana Drug and Alcohol Recovery Inc. is a major non-government organisation employing over 100 staff to provide specialist alcohol and other drug (AOD) services to more than 2000 clients per year. Windana, operating since 1984, works with people to address the drivers and impacts of problematic AOD use, providing a responsive, integrated and holistic approach to recovery. Windana delivers evidence-based programs incorporating complementary treatment services to individuals and families that assist them to recover from the harmful effects of drugs and alcohol. We use a comprehensive, responsive and integrated approach to recovery, utilising traditional medicine, pharmacology, psychological and natural therapies to achieve treatment goals for our clients.

Windana Health & Healing is seeking a Remedial Massage Therapist.  This is a great opportunity to work in an established health clinic in St Kilda and make a contribution to a vibrant not-for-profit health organisation.

Windana Health & Healing is part of Windana Drug and Alcohol Recovery.  We provide low-cost complementary therapies to the general public and Windana clients. 

The successful applicant will be a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist, and an Australian resident with professional indemnity insurance, applicable professional association membership, and be registered with major private health funds. This position is subject to a police check.

This position will be paid on a commission basis, with equipment, linen and reception support provided.  Promotion to Windana’s existing networks is possible however, you will need to play an active role in promoting your own business.
