Having met all standards through a rigorous assessment process, Windana has attained Quality Innovation Performance (QIP) Accreditation.

Quality Innovation Performance Limited specialises in providing accreditation to diverse organisations in the health, community and human sectors – such as Windana. Accreditation means our clients, residents and wider community can be confident that Windana and TaskForce have robust quality management systems in place, ensuring we can provide safe, high quality alcohol and other drug treatments.

Our current accreditation is valid until 2025, when we will commence a new assessment cycle. In the meantime, we will continue to monitor our quality performance.

Australasian Therapeutic Communities Association (ATCA) Standards

The Australasian Therapeutic Communities Association’s Standards for Therapeutic Communities and Residential Rehabilitation Services evaluates processes to ensure both the quality of services provided and the adherence to the Therapeutic Community model.   

Windana was assessed as having met the Australasian Therapeutic Communities Association Standards following an on-site audit in July 2023.

Child Safety at Windana

Windana is committed to protecting the safety of the children in its care and builds child safety into everyday thinking and practice.

We are committed to valuing and respecting all children. Windana aims to create a child-friendly environment where children feel safe, respected and valued where the process of improving the safety of children is continuous and ongoing.

  3. Provides guidance and support for the workforce to ensure everyone knows their roles and responsibilities in providing high quality and safe treatment
  4. Details the objectives required to monitor and improve services, minimise risk and continue to meet the safety and quality standards required to ensure treatment is delivered in a safe, coordinated and supportive manner.
