About the opportunity

We’re looking for an experience cleaner to be accountable for the overall cleaning of the Maryknoll Therapeutic Community. This includes cleaning buildings and grounds, cleaning of kitchen, floors, bathrooms when required, cleaning/washing doors and windows and mix and dispose of all cleaning solutions appropriately. Regular cleaning of high touch-point areas, deep cleaning of client rooms when vacated by resident following discharge, and setting up rooms ready for the next occupant. This opportunity is available immediately and it is a six months fixed term, part time position (15.2hs per week).

About you

  • Certificate II in cleaning
  • Previous experience as a Cleaner
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team
  • Commitment to continuous quality improvement and OHS
  • Ability to handle equipment used in cleaning and knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage and disposal methods
  • Willing to undergo a police check & Working with Children Check
