The Opportunity:

This newly designed role is pivotal to creating a safe and inclusive workplace for all at Windana so that we can continue to deliver great outcomes for all our clients. The Wellbeing Safety and Diversity Coordinator will engage with employees and managers across the organization to create a thriving culture of safety and inclusivity. Success in this role will see the lens of holistic wellbeing safety and diversity at the forefront of decisions and interactions.

Employee wellbeing will be a key to driving psychological safety and this role will run create an excitement through campaigns that have a positive impact on Windana’s employees. A truly safe organization is not possible unless it is inclusive and welcoming of all people.

Critically, this role will lead diversity at Windana ensuring our employees’ backgrounds, LGBTIQ identities, and abilities, reflect the clients and communities we serve, ensuring that any person who interacts with Windana is welcomed and included. plays a pivotal role at Windana, ensuring a smooth employee experience and supporting an effective efficient People and Culture function.

This is an exciting opportunity if improving workforce wellbeing, safety and diversity and inclusion excites you. Tertiary qualifications in HR, and experience as a HR generalist or in a safety, wellbeing or diversity role in an AOD, Health or community setting are essential as are your ability to engage influence and coach. We offer an annual salary of $85,100 to $88,900 (plus super and access to salary packaging which may increase your take home pay). You will be able to work from home as well as from our office conveniently located in St Kilda (pending restrictions). The Program:

The People and Culture team enables the Windana service delivery team to deliver a high-quality service to clients.

We provide high level advice to Windana employees across the full employment lifecycle with a view to continuously improve on the employee experience and quality improvement. We partner with managers to enable them to build strong teams. We have responsibility for recruitment and selection, onboarding, job evaluation, learning and development, employee relations, safety and engagement, and quality compliance and accreditation.
