What is RealCareers?.

RealCareers offers tailored support to help you find and keep the job you want. We’ll help you overcome any barriers and link you in to any services you might require, work with you to build your skills and qualifications to get you job-ready, then connect you directly with employers. Once you’re placed, we’ll support you to keep that job you’ve always been looking for.

How can we help?.

Our RealCareers mentors will support you with:

• Finding jobs that match your interests
• Applying for jobs
• Developing your resume and preparing for job interviews
• Becoming ready for your next role by building your employment skills
• Enrolling in training or obtaining qualifications
• Personal needs, including transport to attend interviews
• Role support for six months once you have a job
• Connecting you to other community services.

Who is the program for?.

We work with people:

• Living in the City of Greater Dandenong who
• Are aged 15 and above and
• Have been out of work for 12 months or more or
• Are at significant risk of long-term unemployment and
• Are Australian citizens, permanent residents or people on humanitarian visas with working rights
