Windana gets the tick of approval

Congratulations to Windana for the exceptional feedback from Quality Innovation Performance (QIP) after its extensive audit of Windana in September 2016. QIP provides certification and accreditation to support health and community services to manage risk and quality. Feedback from the assessors was overwhelmingly positive, reporting that Windana “provides an exceptional service to the community through the dedication and commitment of highly skilled and committed management and staff.”

The audit process included discussions with a number of clients, volunteers, stakeholders and staff and resulted in the auditors having a very positive view of our work and the way we achieve client outcomes. Windana complied with all standards and there were no areas of non-compliance. Windana is proud to have achieved Quality Accreditation for another three years.

Windana welcomes the assessment as an important opportunity to have our commitment to quality client care measured and accredited. The results highlight our progress and help us focus on areas for continuous improvement.

The assessment team was “impressed by the high level of staff commitment to client outcomes, their collaborative approach internally and externally, and the organisational culture of positive and supportive teamwork across all levels and roles in the organisation. The volunteer Board provide strong governance and are supported by systems that assist them in carrying out their responsibilities.”
