Windana and TaskForce Merge to Enhance Community Services across Victoria

Windana and TaskForce, two of Victoria’s leading community care providers, became a single organisation today in a merger that promises to deliver benefits for individuals and communities across Victoria.

Windana Chief Executive Andrea McLeod said the organisations had a shared history and a strong commitment to the sector, with the merger offering the opportunity to extend the reach of the combined organisation.

“Combining our resources, knowledge and skills has many benefits for our clients. It will ensure the long-term sustainability of our newly-merged organisation, and that we position ourselves strongly for the future to provide more services to more people.

“Together, we are also a stronger voice to advocate for effective evidence-based policy and funding at local, state, and federal level.”

Ms McLeod said the merged organisation would continue to deliver on the contracts held by both organisations and there would be no change or disruption to clients.

Both brands will be maintained for the foreseeable future, and websites, email addresses and phone numbers are unchanged.

“We look forward to being able to deliver a greater impact on the communities we serve by reinvesting in our services and people.”

The two organisations officially merged as of today, 20 November 2023, with TaskForce becoming part of Windana.
