Windana Board Chair Announcement

Windana is pleased to announce the appointment of Robyn Batten AM as the new Chair of the Windana Board of Directors, effective Monday 25 November. Robyn brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and vision to the role, and we are excited to embark on this next chapter under her guidance.

Robyn’s appointment comes after an extensive recruitment process that began in April 2024 when current Board Chair, Jenny Gillam, indicated her intention to step down from the Windana Board after 22 years of service – 12 of these years as Board Chair.

Speaking about her appointment as the Windana Board, Robyn said:
“It is with great excitement that I join the Windana Board. Windana does vital and impactful work to improve the lives of thousands of people every year, and I am eager to meet the teams and hear about this first-hand. Following the recent merger and release of the new Strategic Plan, I am looking forward to working with my fellow Board Directors to oversee Windana’s continuing success.”

Windana thanks Jenny for her exceptional 22 years of service on the Windana Board. Jenny has been a tireless advocate of our mission, leading with integrity and an unwavering commitment to the growth and success of Windana.

Reflecting on her time on the Windana Board, Jenny said:

“Over the last 22 years I have witnessed Windana’s incredible transformation, and seeing Windana and TaskForce come together has been a true highlight. I am so proud of what the Windana team have achieved and know that with a dedicated team at all levels focused on providing connected services for more people in need, Windana will excel in its life changing work. I wish Robyn all the very best as the new Chair for Windana.”

Windana’s AGM will be held on Monday 25 November.
