Windana’s New CEO – Laura Mahoney

Robyn Batten AM, Windana Board Chair has today announced that Laura Mahoney has been appointed as the new CEO of Windana, joining the organisation on Monday 2 February 2026.

“The Windana Board and I are thrilled to have Laura join the team at this critical time for Windana,” Robyn said. “Laura is a highly accomplished executive and strategic leader, bringing over 20 years of leadership experience spanning government and non-profit sectors. Her collaborative approach and focus on impact make her a natural fit for Windana.”

Laura comes to Windana after five years at Launch Housing as Executive Director of Homelessness Solutions and Impact, including six months as Interim CEO.

“Laura’s career has focused on improving outcomes that have a lasting positive impact for individuals, communities and future generations. We are thrilled to have Laura join the Windana team and look forward to her positive leadership, as we finalise our new Strategic Plan and continue working with our partners and communities to increase our impact and change more lives for the better,” Robyn said.

Speaking about her new role, Laura said she is “I’m delighted to be joining the dedicated and passionate team at Windana as the new CEO. Windana’s focus on person-centred care, based on evidence and lived experience, and commitment to making lasting, multi-generational change resonate deeply with me, and I look forward to leading the organisation as it continues to change lives.”

Bronwyn Pike will finish up as Windana’s Interim CEO on Friday 12 December. Adam Miller, Windana’s Chief Communication Officer, will be Acting CEO until Laura’s arrival on Monday 2 February 2026.
